Discover the Kaleidoscope Within
Having the Courage to Connect with Every Part of You
A Gestalt-Based Virtual PlayShop Series with Susan Bloom
We all have seasons when life feels effortless—when we’re cruising, clear, and aligned. And we all have seasons when the weight of responsibilities, caregiving, expectations, or perfectionism pulls us under.
You may know both intimately: the days when your energy feels clean and abundant… and the days when you’re trudging through mud, overwhelmed, tired, or disconnected from yourself.
What if the difference between cruising and trudging isn’t luck or circumstance—it’s self-awareness?
What if understanding your inner patterns, values, habits, and the “parts” of you that show up in daily life could help you make decisions with confidence, communicate with clarity, and move through challenges with steadiness and grace?
Welcome to The Kaleidoscope Within—a multi-week Gestalt-based PlayShop designed to help you understand you at a profound and compassionate level.

Why This Work Matters
Do you ever wonder why you made a certain decision… or reacted a certain way?
It might be driven by a part of yourself you’re not fully aware of.
Most of us move through life without understanding:
- why we avoid certain conflicts
- why overwhelm hits out of nowhere
- why perfectionism, fear of failure, or old patterns keep resurfacing
- why we communicate beautifully with some people—and struggle with others
In this PlayShop, you’ll explore the hidden aspects of your inner world with curiosity, not judgment.
You’ll uncover the parts you embrace, the parts you hide, and the parts you’ve overlooked because the world told you not to shine too brightly, feel too deeply, or take up too much space.
By gently exploring your internal landscape, you’ll learn how to bring your best self—your grounded, compassionate, courageous self—into any situation.
What You’ll Experience in Discover the Kaleidoscope Within
This multi-week series includes experiential learning, guided introspection, Gestalt processes, and gentle group connection.
Creating a Safe & Sacred Space
We begin by building a supportive container—a place where you can show up fully, share authentically, and be witnessed without judgment.
Getting to Know Your Personality Type
You’ll explore your type and learn why you communicate and relate the way you do.
You’ll also gain simple tools to understand others more easily—improving communication at home and work.
Discovering the Kaleidoscope Within You
We each hold multitudes.
The fighter.
The listener.
The nurturer.
The innovator.
The protector.
The part of you that opens… and the part that hides.
You’ll learn how to recognize which “part” is showing up—and how to consciously invite in the one that serves you best.
Exploring Your Values
Your values guide your decisions, relationships, boundaries, and emotional patterns.
Together we’ll explore:
- the values that support your growth
- the values that keep you from moving forward
- the “move-away-from” states (like overwhelm or perfectionism) that drain your peace
Becoming a Visionary in Your Own Life
During difficult times, vision becomes an anchor.
You’ll create a personal vision to help you stay steady, aligned, and connected to your why.
Cleaning Up Your Life—Gently
We’ll look at all areas of your life—emotional, relational, physical, creative, spiritual—to identify small changes that can create meaningful improvement.
BONUS: Optional One-on-One Session
You may choose to explore a genogram (family map) to uncover generational patterns that influence your choices, emotions, and relationships today.
What You’ll Walk Away With
A deeper understanding of yourself than you’ve likely ever had.
Tools that strengthen your relationships—with loved ones, coworkers, and most importantly, yourself.
More compassion.
More clarity.
More courage.
And a stronger, quieter inner compass that helps you navigate life with intention and authenticity.
A Personal Note from Susan
Doing this work changed everything for me.
It helped me stay grounded while caregiving for my husband.
It helped me navigate a breast cancer diagnosis.
It helped me understand myself during the most overwhelming seasons of life.
And it carried me through the loss of both my husband and father.
This work didn’t just help me survive—it helped me become more whole.
I would be honored to help you experience that same clarity.

Frequently Asked Questions
Q: What exactly is The Kaleidoscope Within?
A: The Kaleidoscope Within is a six-week, Gestalt-based virtual PlayShop series designed to help you understand the many parts of yourself—your patterns, values, personality, strengths, and emotional habits. Through guided exploration and experiential exercises, you’ll gain a deeper understanding of who you are and how to intentionally bring your best self into every situation.
Q: Do I need any experience with horses or Gestalt work?
A: Not at all. While Susan is a Master Equine Gestaltist®, this particular PlayShop is virtual and does not involve live horse interaction. Susan brings the principles learned through partnering with horses—presence, authenticity, and attunement—into every session.
Q: Is this therapy?
A: No. This is a coaching and experiential learning series, not therapy. You’ll gain clarity, awareness, and personal insight. The experience is designed to support growth, not treat mental health conditions. Many participants find it deeply meaningful and complementary to other personal development or therapy work.
Q: What is the time commitment?
A: The series includes six weekly live sessions, each lasting approximately 60–90 minutes. Optional reflection exercises between sessions are offered but not required. An optional one-on-one session (for genogram exploration) is scheduled individually.
Q: What if I can’t attend all the sessions live?
A: If your schedule prevents live attendance every week, you’ll still benefit from the materials and reflection exercises. Live participation is encouraged because the experience is interactive. Missing a session will not diminish your overall progress.
Q: Who is this PlayShop for?
A: This series is ideal for:
- Caregivers
- Professionals in healthcare, education, leadership, and wellness
- Individuals feeling overwhelmed, stuck, or disconnected
- Anyone wanting to improve communication and relationships
- People who crave a deeper understanding of themselves
- Those navigating transition or loss
In short, it’s for anyone ready to explore their inner world with curiosity and compassion.
Q: I’m not very emotional. Is this still for me?
A: Absolutely. You do not need to be “emotional” to benefit from this work. In fact, many participants join precisely because they want to understand themselves better—how they think, decide, communicate, avoid conflict, or move through stress. This is for every personality type.
Q: Will I have to share personal stories?
A: You are welcome to share if you feel comfortable. It’s never required. A safe, supportive environment is created, but you choose your level of participation. This is not about performing—it’s about self-discovery.
Q: How is this different from other personal growth workshops?
A: Most workshops teach concepts.
This one helps you experience them.
You’ll explore personality patterns, values, and internal parts through experiential Gestalt processes, practical tools, and guided reflection. This blend of grounded coaching plus deep inner awareness creates lasting, actionable change.
Q: What will I walk away with?
A: Participants leave with:
- A deeper understanding of your unique inner landscape
- Tools to navigate overwhelm, perfectionism, and emotional triggers
- More effective communication skills
- Clarity around values and decision-making
- A renewed sense of direction and personal vision
- Greater self-compassion and confidence
- Improved relationships with partners, children, coworkers, and yourself
Q: What is a genogram, and why is it optional?
A: A genogram is a simple and powerful visual map of your family history—patterns, roles, strengths, struggles, and generational influences. It helps reveal dynamics that may shape how you show up today. The one-on-one session is optional for those who want deeper insight into family patterns.
Q: Why does this work matter?
A: Because when you understand yourself deeply—your values, patterns, strengths, hidden parts, and protective strategies—you communicate more clearly, connect more authentically, and move through life with greater ease.
This work helped me navigate caregiving, cancer, grief, and profound life transitions with strength and grace.
It can support you too.
Q: How do I sign up?
A: Click the registration button below or contact Susan directly using the “Connect With Me” button if you have questions. Spaces are intentionally limited to keep the environment personal, safe, and supportive.

I am aware that this is an experiential coaching session featuring the Gestalt Coaching Method®.
