I was guided through a quick exercise about looking back at 2021 and looking forward to 2022. These are my thoughts.

I learned many things this year. I had three different credit cards compromised four times. Fortunately, none were at critical times when I needed to use each card. Also, two of the credit card companies were not quick about getting me new cards which is very inconvenient. What did I learn? Not to leave my cards in my vehicle even if I was only running into the bathroom at a public place and not to use the rural gas pumps where there is no one there to monitor that someone has put a skimmer on the pumps.

I learned how easy it is to be scammed by someone offering a service. My horse arrived only after I was scammed by one hauler who insisted on a deposit. In this case, if I would have been paying attention to the signs and my intuition I may not have been scammed. And frankly, I’ll never be sure of who was involved in that. I’m thankful that Ace arrived without any other problems.

I’ve also started focusing on the blessings in my life. I have two healthy grandchildren, their parents seem to be doing well, and I have a new foster grandchild. Along with three wonderful sons.

I’ve released much from my life both physically and mentally. I’ve been working with a coach to declutter my house. In doing that and helping my mom move I found many cards and letters from ex-boyfriends that I have released in one way or another. I have blessed people with some of the clothes and stuff from my house.

I had a Gestalt cohort encourage me to do more to expand the Hope Held By A Horse program into Kansas. We’re making slow progress. It will happen and I’ll be offering these wonderful programs to breast cancer patients and survivors in the future.

There seems to have been a huge shift in my life since I went to Hawaii with two of my Gestalt cohorts. At a farmer’s market, I discovered a pair of earrings that were the symbol for new beginnings. I was told by our host that I needed to set an intention and have them blessed in the ocean which I did. My attitude has changed and my vision is starting to come to fruition.

I’ve had a year of blessing and releasing objects and mental baggage. I’ve had a year of setting intentions and seeing them realized.
