Banner of horse's eyes

Lone highwayIt’s said that patience is a virtue. I’ve learned to have patience in my life and with my vision.

Sometimes it feels like I need pure faith. That is hard for me – I want to be in control. I have a hard time turning it all over to the Universe.

In my Equine Gestalt Training, we wrote a vision. I can see my vision clearly and it is slowly, very slowly, coming as well as changing course as needed.

As my life has changed my vision has corrected for it. I also now have a vision board that I made at my last Gestalt Camp. I added two pictures today ever moving forward.

Sometimes a vision can feel like a moving target, and we constantly need to make course corrections. Sometimes it may be a straight line. Either way, when we focus on our vision it happens sometimes gradually, sometimes quickly. When it’s moving quickly, we may become overwhelmed, or we may feel a shower of relief. When it’s moving slowly, we may try to expedite the process.

I personally get overwhelmed when things are moving too slowly. I want to force things to happen instead of allowing them to happen. Sometimes this makes everything move slower or grind to a stop.

Follow your heart they say… Mine always leads me to the Barn!

I’ve learned that there are a few things I can do when I become overwhelmed. To help me remain in the moment. One is going out to be with the horses. They have a way of making all feel right with the world.

Another thing I can do is edit photos or do some design work – something creative. I always feel like I’ve accomplished something when I finish a photo or design. And projects seem to keep flowing after I’ve done this.

Do you ever feel that your vision or life gets stuck? Like you’re not moving forward? Let the horses help you get unstuck. Connect with me here for more information.
