Tests ā€“ the last few months have been full of them. My mom signed a contract on her house and will close in a little over a week. Along with that May was a month full of travel, some unexpected, and I no more than returned from Hawaii and I was in the final stages of planning my dadā€™s celebration of life.

Iā€™ll say there are many new beginnings in my life. The house that mom is selling is her dream house that she and my dad designed and built 50 years ago. There is a lot to go through. Many memories were made in that house. Mom is not sure where this move will take her.

New beginnings for me as I will pass by the house every time I go to feed horses and wonā€™t have any reason to stop. It will be sad and joyful at the same time. Sad to see the house without immediate family. Joyful to see a new young family there.

I was told that the full moon right before my trip to Hawaii was special and a great time to release whatā€™s not serving one anymore. I had a ā€œboyfriendā€ in junior high who became what would now be called a stalker. He bothered me until he graduated from high school the year before I did. In one of my coaching sessions with a fellow Equine Gestalt Coaching Method graduate, I had written a nine-page letter to him. I had been wanting to burn it on the porch that went into my room before mom moved. So, I grabbed the opportunity to do that. I called John and asked him if there was something that we could safely burn these papers on the porch in. He found a metal trash can that even had a lid and brought it to the house. There was little wind for the Kansas prairie. We had a burning ceremony to release that experience back to the Universe. I thought I would shed tears. Instead, I felt free. The fact that John and his girlfriend stayed and helped me with this release did bring a few tears.

Do you have something you need to release back to the Universe? Maybe itā€™s something that has been troubling you for years, since childhood. My healing herd and I can help. Connect with me here.
