I returned from my second Gestalt Coaching Method camp last night full of possibilities. GCM is a deepening of the Gestalt from EGCM. We get to explore what we learned while becoming Gestaltists and partnering with the horses and be coached by powerful coaches. It is an enriching experience.

Why do I say Iā€™m full of possibilities? I was blessed to be coached several times at this camp. I came away with the sweetness of transformation.

If youā€™ve ever wondered about Gestalt here are some explanations.

As Gestaltists we see ourselves on a level playing field as the client. We are not better than you and donā€™t expect you to hold us on a pedestal. We are totally aligned with our core values and they are integrated into our beings. We are able to sit in contact with our clients while being non-judgmental and helping clients get in touch with their emotions and their selves.

We ask that all involved in a session be in the present moment knowing that it will most likely bring up work from the past. Our sessions are a sacred space where clients can be truly heard. We bring into their awareness what is happening through observation of the clientā€™s body and language. Clients will discover things about themselves that may be out of their awareness.

Our goal is to help clients clear unfinished business. By having them explore themselves in a manner that unpacks and releases that energy.

There are times when we have to dig deep to find the challenge that is outside of the clientā€™s awareness. Then we help them to see what it is and do an experience around it so it can be released. This can unbind the client from the holds of the past that are keeping them from being all they can be in many areas of their life, personal or professional.

The horses help us by seeing the client for who they are. The horses also keep us in the present moment. Horses are natural Gestaltists and work to help us enrich the clientā€™s experience.

Gestalt can help people avoid burnout by helping them relieve the stressors that are pushing them. It can help build relationships, either with self or others. It can help build businesses. It can help people discharge negative energy that is holding them back. It can open up the sweetness of possibilities showing you how to bloom.

If youā€™d like to see how Gestalt can open your life to bloom with the possibilities connect with me here.

As I awoke this morning, I heard Try Everything in my head. It seemed appropriate.
