I donāt remember a time when horses werenāt a part of my life. Not because I lived on a farm or my parents were interested in horses. But because my grandpa had horses at his farm.
He is responsible for every horse that has come into my life up to this point. Even 28 years after his death. He got me my first pony and all the horses I have now are descendants of his bloodlines.
So, what makes the horse so special?
I knew from a young age that there was something special about their qualities. I would spend hours with them when I could. At the time I didnāt realize the healing ability they had even though I would go to them whenever I had a problem. If you talk to anyone who has horses I bet youāll hear the same thing.
Since Iāve become a student of Touched By A HorseĀ® Iāve been formally introduced to their healing gifts.
I have one mare who has been trying to show me her gifts for years. I wasnāt listening.
Bugs A Special, aka Sassy, would stand over the muck bucket when I was cleaning and generally just get in the way. There was nothing I could do that would get her to stay away from me. Cleaning stalls is one of those activities where you can work a lot out in your heart and she was trying to help me.
One night after a particularly difficult conversation with one of Mikeās doctors and the 350-mile drive home. I was out feeding late. It was August, so I went out to make sure the mares didnāt have a problem with their waterer. Three of the mares came over and surrounded me while Sassy checked all the feeders. Then she came over and dismissed the other mares as if she had told them to keep me there while she finished.
Sassy can be very insistent and tonight she was telling me I had something to say. I knew that and told her I didnāt have the words yet. So, she went to work on my root chakra to give me theĀ strength to find those words. She kept me there for quite a while.
I have had many such experiences with this mare. I canāt wait to see how she helps others.
The horses help you have āGood Vibrationsā.
