What would you think about today, Susan, if you knew each thought would be made manifest? What would you say today, Susan, if you knew that every word you choose will send great energy into motion?

And what would you do today if you knew every action was already destined to create magic and would prove to be your future?

Holding my breath,

Manifesting. It feels like a buzzword these days. Iā€™ve learned a lot about manifesting in the last few years.

This weekend I manifested a pony. For about two years Iā€™ve been looking for a small horse or pony for my granddaughter. Now I have two granddaughters and a grandson. This pony came as one that was being offered by the matching service that one of my Touched By A Horse colleagues runs.

I had been watching her posts in our FaceBook group and decided not to reach out to her about this one. Iā€™d meet her at Summit and see how I felt about her.

I talked with all three of the people who had been working with her to see if she might be a fit for my program and my grandchildren. Sheā€™s solid as far as ground manners and riding. And they added the caveat that she is a pony and comes with pony characteristics so she probably wasnā€™t suitable to turn a beginning rider loose on her right away and I may need to tune her up.

I struggled with the decision. Sheā€™s cute as a button and very extroverted. She has a huge personality, knows sheā€™s enough, and has an abundance of energy.

I decided to submit an application with the feeling that if I was chosen for her or not it would be OK. I was chosen and she is now with Ace at my boarding facility.

As I was driving home, I realized this is not the first time Iā€™d manifested a horse. Although I wasnā€™t old enough to realize it, I probably manifested my first two ponies and horses. Then when I was in junior high, I had one horse that I rode in all the classes. He was suited and trained for the speed events. I wanted another horse to ride in Western Pleasure and Horsemanship. I bugged grandpa about it and he drove by, saw one in south-central Kansas, found the owner, and I had a new horse, Smokey.

Smokey wasnā€™t well suited for what I wanted, and my focus had changed. I started learning to jump while I was in college. He was sold when I left the barn where I was boarding and grandpa replaced him with a mare, he had raised who didnā€™t work out on the track, Linda. She was a beautiful jumper however she would kick out between fences. Grandpa sent her to a trainer who said that she woke up in a different world every morning.

Then came my beloved Zandy. He was just what I needed to go on in the AQHA hunter/jumper division. He was owned by a cowboy trainer who lived 45 miles south of me. He was being shown as a heading and heeling horse and was qualified for the AQHA World show and leading the state in points in both. He was for sale and his owner decided to have a friend of mine come and teach him to jump. After a while she wanted to see someone ride him, so she asked me. We were both novices at jumping, and she liked what she saw. My beloved Reed Man had died earlier in the year, and I wasnā€™t actively looking for a new horse. I fell in love with him. I asked grandpa if he would come out and watch me ride him. A few days later he called and asked me about having my new horse shod. Iā€™d manifested another one.

Since Zandy there have been many more horses in my life, mares that I got from my grandpaā€™s estate and their foals. Then a few years ago I started looking for a horse that I could ride again and a pony for my granddaughter. Now Iā€™ve manifested both in Ace and Patty.
